Alumni Updates - Military

Aaron Rarey, a 1989 Otsego grad is serving in the Air Force (1993 Air Force Academy grad) is currently stationed at Travis AFB, CA as a C-5 Instructor Pilot and squadron operations officer. He will be moving to Randolph AFB, TX (San Antonio) in January. Aaron played football for four years and ran track for four as an Otsego Knight. Monty Haynes, class of 2005 and four year letterman in soccer is currently serving in Iraq with the Marines. his mom and dad, Ken and Brenda recently found out he is due to be rotated back to the states (stationed in Hawaii) and should be home for Thanksgiving.

Joey Brown a 2007 graduate has entered the army. he left August 6, 2007. He is stationed is at Ft. Sill, OK. until December. His mom, Ginger McDaniel, will provide updates. Joey is also the son of Barry Brown.

Eric Dehn is a 1984 graduate and has been on continuous active duty with the USAF since October of ’84. He says, "Yes, I’ve been in for 24 years!" He has served downrange in both Operations Desert Shield/Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom (Kirkuk, Iraq in 2004). As an Otsego Knight Eric lettered in football, wrestling, and track. Jen Harter, class of 2006, is a football cheerleader this year at Wittenberg University.

Otsego has a bunch of football players at Ohio Northern. Eric Zuhlsdorf (06), Caleb Clark, Aaron Weaver and Justin Henck (Class of 07) all play for the ONU Polar Bears.
